The kindergarten orientation event replaces “Meet the Teacher Night” for this grade level. No kindergarten teachers will attend that evening so please do not attend Meet the Teacher Night for your K student.
Orientation is scheduled on your child’s first day of school on August 13, 2025. A parent, guardian, or responsible adult should attend with the student to:
meet their teacher and see the classroom
learn about classroom routines and procedures
bring in your child’s school supplies
All students are asked to bring one parent or adult loved one for their first day of Kindergarten.
Along with your excitement and loved one, please bring all of your (unlabeled) school supplies!
Your child will receive either breakfast or lunch, depending on their scheduled orientation time.
This event will last for approximately 1 hour. Your child will attend their first day without an adult on August 14, 2025.
SCHEDULE:
Students with last names beginning A - L
Wednesday, August 13 from 8:15 - 9:15 am
Students with last names beginning M - Z
Wednesday, August 13 from 10:45 - 11:45 am
Due to space restrictions, kindergarten students are only permitted to bring one parent or adult loved one on the first day of school. Please refrain from bringing siblings as today is “All About Kindergarten!”
Parking is available in the lot across from LECC and on the street.
