Science Superstars

For the third quarter Science Superstars, I wanted my focus to be on the kiddos who are continuing to complete their daily expectations without reminders. Often during this time of the year, students become restless and everything we have taught them goes out the window as Spring break approaches, but not with these students who I have selected for this quarter's recognition.

The first student I would like to represent LMS as a science superstar is always working hard! Her artwork is amazing and the attention and detail she puts into her projects goes far above most. This girl asks questions when she needs clarification and when she is absent she always checks in with her teachers to find out what she has missed. I particularly enjoy learning about her exotic axolotl and she doesn’t hesitate to teach my child about him as well. Ms. Kinleigh Weiss, you are a great addition to our first-hour group and I am glad I get to start my morning with you! Keep up the great work and end your 6th grade year on a high note!

The second student whom I would like to recognize for this quarter's science superstar is a young man who has been going above and beyond since the beginning of 6th grade. He is always following directions, completing his assignments, and works as a great partner with whoever he is with. I particularly enjoy seeing this young man when he smiles, because it can truly light up a room. I know I can trust him with any task I give him and his sweet nature is contagious to everyone who is around him. Congratulations Mr. Wyatt Loew on being my 3rd quarter science superstar! I can not wait to see what else 6th grade has in store for you, because whatever it is I know you will rock it!
