The classrooms at Litchfield Middle School were a sea of orange instead of the usual Panther purple on Wednesday, October 21st in celebration of Unity Day 2020.  Students and staff were encouraged to wear and share orange to prevent bullying and promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.  In addition to wearing orange, students did a Panther Pride activity called “Every Step You Take (Matters)”.  Students traced their shoe on orange paper, cut out their footprints, and wrote messages that said what they would do to promote unity in the school.  The footprints now line the halls at LMS as a daily reminder that every step they take can help create a kinder, more inclusive, and more accepting world.
